I absolutely love my twist ! I’ve tried many braiding places from Woodbridge to Fredericksburg and no one can make your hair look as good as Gisele! You tell her what you want and you leave with exactly what you wanted with no disappointment. She is the best in the area. She is very gentle, accommodating with the her hours and she got some magic hands because my hair has grown since she’s been twisting it for the past couple years. Most places are open 9-5, but Gisele will do her best to fit you on her calendar and make your hair appointment happen any hour of the day, which helps those that work crazy hours in this metro area. I highly recommend this shop!

I went at 8:30 PM, and we started my hair around 9. She finished by midnight. The process was smooth, and the stylist was both friendly and accommodating. She did the exact style I requested and even checked in after a few rows to make sure I was happy with it. She was very gentle, and the one time I mentioned a braid felt too tight, she immediately redid it without hesitation. The next day when I went to the store, a girl walked up to me and said, “I love your braids! Your parts are so clean.” That compliment really confirmed how great the work was.

Gisele’s African Hair Braiding was the most wonderful expedience that I had with braiding. The Salon was very clean, professional, and the atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. The Staff understood my needs and fulfilled my services with the most sincere and thorough satisfaction. When I first went to the website and did my research for the services, they were very quick in responding to concerns and styles. They took time to educated me on how to care for my hair for longer retention. The braider who braided and styled my hair stay on my hair through completion without interruptions. I received so many compliments on my hair. I LOVE the idea of a local salon here in Stafford, which was a blessing not having to travel out of the area to get my hair braided, AND THEY ARE ON TIME!!!!!! I will be returning for future services as well as start taking my grand daughter there to get her hair braided. They did not over stress my hair with tight braids, neither did they pull on my head. From the moment I made my appointment, I knew Gisele meant business. She was professional, kind, and had me scheduled for a 5 a.m. appointment—yes, 5 a.m.! I even got a courtesy "wake up call" before the appt. I was in and out before most people even wake up on a Saturday. No all-day salon marathon like we all know can happen with braids. Even though I changed my style a bit, she accommodated as close to what I wanted (for a small extra fee, of course), and both she and her mother worked on my hair together, getting me done in no time. She was so gentle that I actually dozed off a few times—lol. The best part is she was gentle on my edges as requested and my head didn't hurt at all afterwards! I’m new to the area, so finding her website truly felt like a blessing. To top it all off, Gisele gifted me with an unexpected holiday treat before I left.
